Description

From your seat in our beautiful new office in downtown Chicago, you will have access to many key teammates to help respond to client requests timely. Our office is in the heart of the loop with very convenient access to all major public transportation lines with full amenities including a new fitness center and luxury roof top deck filled with amenities such as pool, ping pong, foosball tables and golf simulator. Please be aware we are onsite with a traditional work schedule and are not offering remote nor hybrid roles at this time.
Position Summary

My client is on a high growth trajectory with many technical roles to fill to support growing demand for our software. The Technical Recruiter recruits and places qualified IT candidates for the software engineering, data sciences/ machine learning, application support and other teams by locating, pre-screening, and interviewing potential candidates; performs reference checks and evaluates job skills as required to select qualified IT candidates to fulfill client s job requisitions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Participates in sales, business development, and client service activities to advance and foster positive relationships with clients and candidates.
  • Sources and recruits new candidates by making cold calls, attending job fairs, networking within companies, and utilizing the Internet to locate and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for assignments.
  • Conducts in-person and/or phone interviews; qualifies technical professionals for skill, proficiency, and suitability; completes reference and background checks for potential candidates.
  • Selects qualified candidates for submission to clients in response to their job requisitions.
  • Monitors performance of currently placed candidates on an on-going basis to assess and establish the viability for future placement.
  • Creates and updates candidate database for current and future job opportunities.
  • Ensures the completion of new hire documentation, orientation, and benefits administration.
  • Completes and maintains all required reports and paperwork.
  • Performs administrative duties; composes routine correspondence.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor s degree (B.A.) or equivalent preferred.
  • Four to six years related experience or equivalent
  • Experience in recruiting and staffing technical software engineering roles
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Experienced in using Jobvite, ADP or other recruiting and HRIS systems
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
